Older Americans Act: an overview.

The Older Americans Act is a bill that was approved by US Congress 7 years ago. This bill was made to assist the elderly in their upcoming retirement, secure them of whatever problems they might encounter. Under its roof, the National Family Caregiver Support is included which allows the family to obtain help from their local governments or the state itself when they are having difficulties in taking care of their old family members. This also allows the state to fund communities and groups that uphold the well-being of the elderly. With this program, institutions for the aged now have more funds so they could take care more elderly in their homes.
