Caregivers are in demand nowadays. That’s why many care giving schools have suddenly sprouted out of the blue. Many people prefer caring for a chronically ill or disabled person or people who are in home for the aged institutions or houses. Caregivers’ exchange their time that they should spent with their loved ones for taking care of older people in other countries to earn money to support their family. Venturing out in care giving is not an easy job especially when you are just starting out. By learning as much as you can about your patient’s illness. Talk to his or her health care providers and find out how the illness may progress, how it is being treated, and what the expected results of treatment are. Know what medication the person is taking, what side effects to expect, and whether he or she has any drug allergies.
