Child Care Giving
Children to caregiver ratios are an important part of proper and effective care as shown in many studies that observed groups of varying ratios, all showing the same results. The less children to each caregiver, the better for they have more time and resources to deal with their specific needs. Most people think of caregivers as merely with the dealings of the elderly yet children too have special needs especially with sickness and other debilitating diseases. People may not like the fact of having someone caring for young children but in some extreme cases where both parents have to work for a living, extra people to handle care for their sick child may be called for.
Children are normally cared for by their parents but should they find it too difficult for themselves, they can always seek extra help with caregivers who are trained to handle children. Mostly nurses and other health care people, they are to be expected more of for children have more needs compared to adults. Though smaller, they have strict needs such as medication and other time-sensitive procedures that are prescribed by the pediatrician for proper care.
