Voluntary Caregiver
What exactly is a voluntary caregiver? On a simple and easily understandable note, a voluntary caregiver is someone who provides care to people who are suffering disabilities or sickness without pay. A voluntary caregiver may most likely be a relative of the disabled or perhaps a friend. In UK, they describe a voluntary caregiver as a person who gives care that is unpaid by looking after a frail, disabled or ill member of the family, partner or friend. Because of the huge responsibilities and demands for providing care to certain relatives or friends, an estimate of 50 percent of all the caregivers are not included in the paid employment bracket.
